After a gourmet meal in the luxury tent at Peacock Pavilions, we will come together in a sacred Dark Moon Circle - a powerful ritual that women have held for thousands of years - we will connect with the Moon, our souls and each other.

Peacock Pavilions
Peacock Pavilions is an artisanal boutique hotel in an olive grove on the outskirts of Marrakech. Part of the M.Montague offerings, Peacock Pavilions was designed and built by American author, blogger and designer, Maryam Montague, and her American husband, Chris Redecke.
The hotel, like the rest of M.Montague brand, supports Project Soar, a non-profit organization, which was established by the couple to empower local Moroccan girls through art and sports, as well as health and English language education.
Marrakech itself is a design, shopping, dining and spiritual mecca. An oasis in the Moroccan landscape.

what you can expect each day
saturday, 17 januaRy
As we all arrive from the airport in Marrakech, you will be greeted with a cocktail and invited to lounge by the sparkling pool. We'll enjoy a gourmet dinner together in the luxury dining tent nestled on the property.
sunday, 18 january
A full day starting with breakfast and a morning in the Medina with a tour guide; shopping and lunch in the souk. We'll return to Peacock Pavilions for a cocktail and henna party, dinner and our Dark Moon Circle.
monday, 19 january
A full breakfast on the terrace, followed by our first workshop. Then a delicious lunch before a short drive to the famous Jardin Majorelle. Dinner will be in the city at one of the premier restaurants.
tuesday, 20 january
A day to slow down a bit - breakfast, lunch and dinner will all be served on property, and two workshops will be offered in the morning and afternoon. We will come together that evening for a traditional Death Dinner*.
wednesday, 21 january
An early breakfast and then a day trip to the enchanting seaside town of Essaouira.
THURSDAY, 22 JANUARY
Breakfast at the Pavilion, a morning workshop then a delicious lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax or explore the area. We'll reconnect for our farewell dinner and a movie night under the stars.

Our last breakfast together and departures.

*A Death Dinner is a gathering over a meal where the guests are invited to share thoughts, fears and hopes around their own mortality. Sharing is 100% optional.

is marrakech safe?
Absolutely! It is a thriving city so standard safety practices should be kept. Additionally, it is a Muslim country and there are certain expectations in the way women dress. We'll go into details about specifics during our pre-trip Zoom.
DO I NEED a visa?
Just a passport!
Be sure that your passport does not expire within six months of our travel dates.
If you need to update your passport allow a minimum of three months to do so.
CAN I email you additional questions?
Questions are welcome! I provide a myriad of insights and guidance. And anything I am unsure of, I will quickly get the required information from the correct source!
have you been to marrkech?
YES! This will be the third time I have led a retreat at Peacock Pavilions.
how do i add spa treatments to my trip?
Shoot me an email and I will provide a list of services and prices. You will pay Peacock Pavilions directly.
what is the refund policy?
Deposits are 100% NON-refundable. If you pay in full during our Early Bird days, you will receive a full refund (minus $495) if cancelled within 30 days of purchase. All other payments are final.
No refunds will be given for passport issues, missed flight connections resulting in late arrival or any health related issues. This is why travel insurance is mandatory.

But my passion is Sisterhood. With over 30 years of extensive study around spiritualism, mythology and art history, I now work with women/femmes to reconnect to the power of the primordial Goddess.
I have led retreats in both Morocco and Iceland - bringing my unique vision to intimate and inspiring settings.
